About Reputation[]
Reputation is a player stat that is used to increase XP, which increases levels faster.
The base rate for XP gain is 0.1 XP/hr.
The rate of XP gain can be increased by increasing your reputation. You increase your reputation by burning PART tokens.
Reputation Conversion for XP[]
- 2% of your Reputation is converted to XP every hour (i.e., you will convert less than 2% if the number to be converted exceeds 10% of the amount needed to level up, which prevents whales from accelerating too fast).
- This means you'll see your Reputation number slowly decrease over time as it is converted into XP.
- Burn is capped at 25% of your needed XP for your current level
- Every player gets XP once every full hour, at the same time.
The amount of reputation you can burn for XP per hour increases as prestige increases. The natural "max rep conversion" cap is 50.0 XP/hr. However, this can be increased by getting specific stats on amplifier modules.

Reputation Burn Explanation[]
If 2% of Reputation equals less than 0.1XP, then nothing will happen. It does round up, so it will still convert at 2.5 Reputation but not at 2.4 or lower.
It is helpful to think of it as 1 $PART = 1 XP. Just remember that it won't be credited to you all at once.
An important thing to note is that when you burn $PART for Reputation , it doesn't count towards your position on the leaderboard instantly; it will count over time at the 2% burn rate of Reputation turning into XP.
Example: You burn 10 $PART for 10 reputation; you will therefore get an additional 0.2XP/hr.

Max Rep Conversion Modifiers[]
The "Max Rep Conversion" stat is one of the most sought after modifiers on a module. This is because prestige is the only time-gated stat in the game. All other stats can be bought by purchasing more part tokens, but not prestige.
Here is a screenshot from November 21, 2023 of one of the top new players that has a Quantum Amplifier allowing for a 30% increase in the max rep conversion stat.
